The Wren’s Nest was the home of Joel Chandler Harrisfrom 1881 until 1908.The structure is one of only a few remaining Queen Anne Victorian homes in Atlanta. It’s a unique example of upper middle class living around the turn of the 20th century. Today the home features most of the Harris family’s original furniture and belongings. The house was named after wrens made a nest in the mailbox 120 years ago. If you visit in the spring, you might see that wrens still make nests in the mailbox.

We’re in love with Brooke Creef’s “Terminus” design.
Little ATL fact: Western and Atlantic Railroad wanted to make Decatur their southernmost stop on the line they were building in the 1830s. Decatur’s citizens protested a major terminal, citing that it would bring pollution and traffic from travelers, hobos and scamps.
In response, the railroad Decatur and founded a new city to the south west called Terminus–a city that would later become Atlanta.
Brooke’s design celebrates the birth of our city, and *BONUS* can also serve as a conversation piece on a terribly awkward blind date.

With Atlanta Pride only a few days away, we decided it was time for some I Love Atlanta girls shirts. Show your love!
We’ll have more GLBTQ shirts up this week, babies. And yes, we have boys shirts up too.

We’re doing a benefit as part of the Save Criminal Records Atlanta benefit. We whipped up some pretty sweet shirts and tote bags (sized for vinyl!) and all proceeds are going to help Eric and the gang keep the store alive.
Chip in and look cool!
